Na Muang Waterfall is the most famous waterfall in Koh Samui, it? is located between Hua Thanon and Nathon in the Southwest sector of the island just off a concrete road at Ban Thurian, making it easily accessible to visitors.

The Na Muang Waterfall lie south of the island's central peaks, at about the midway point between the two coasts. A paved entrance road leads off the main street connecting Hua Thanon, south of Lamai, to Nathon.

Na Muang Waterfall actually consists of two waterfalls: while the one accessible by road is 18 meters high, Na Muang 2 is about 80 meters high and can only be reached by trekking, on foot or elephant, to reach. The waterfalls are the most scenic on the island and well worth a visit to Samui's "interior".

Along the path leading to the falls from the parking area are several souvenir stalls as well as some food stalls that can prepare 'real' Thai food at quite reasonable prices compared to many of the island's restaurants.

Rocks and tree roots form a natural staircase leading directly to a large pool at the base of the waterfall. Be careful when diving or swimming in the pool, however, as shallow, sharp rocks are obscured by the frothing falls.
