The wonderful huge flat-topped mountain

Koh Kai, Koh Mo and Koh Tap are the three islands located about 3km from Ao Nang and near Koh Poda, so the tour islands altogether, are the popular tourist program.

Features of Koh Dam Kwan:
The group of the four islands called Mo Koh Poda consists of Koh Poda Nai, Koh Poda Nok, Koh Thap and Koh Mo. The other small islands are not the tourist attraction because of having no beach but only rocks. Another name of Koh Poda Nok is called "Koh Kai" or "Koh Dam Kwan". So, Krabi is the porvince of 130 islands.

Highlights of Koh Dam Kwan:
Koh Poda Nai: From Ao Nang, Koh Poda Nai will be the first island to visit. The nearer you get to the island, the more beautiful it is, which make you want to jump into the water. When there is the bright sunshine, the undersea sand will be clearly seen.

The long beach island has the white sand and the range of Pine Trees. The popular activities here are swimming, kayaking and diving to see the coral reefs around Koh Poda Nai, the largest island of the four. From the two beautiful beaches of Koh Poda Nai, you will see Koh Kai and Koh Thap rested nearby.

Koh Mo: It is the small rock island which has the shallow water coral reefs under the beautiful colored sea. During the low tide, the sandbar will appear to you sight, linking the two islands together, which looks like the sea is divided into two portions. This place is called "Tha Le Waek".

Koh Kai: It is the small island which has the south beach adjacent to the sandbar of Koh Poda Nok or Koh Kai. The island has a very clear white beach and the long range of coral reefs that reach Koh Poda Nok or Koh Kai.

Koh Poda Nok: It is the island of almost the same size as Koh Poda Nai. This island has another name called Koh Kai or Koh Dam Kwan because the huge rock on the island looks like having "the cock head" or "the bird head". You can see this rock by boat since  it is located at the south of the island with no beach.

There is the sandbar at the north of Koh Kai which is like a bridge on the carpet between koh Kai and Koh Thap at the length of 200m.

The most apppropriate time to see Tha Le Waek is at the lowest tide each day especially five days before and after the fifteenth day of the waxing moon.

There are plenty of accommodations with the sea view and full of facilities at Ao Nang. It is the tourists center where you can find the tour agents, car renting, ariline ticketing offices, tour bus service and currency exchange.
